new items in the shop! T-shirts, prints and other stuff :)
It's exam time and my mind is blank, or rather so overstuffed with information that it leaves no room for creativity. Nevertheless, I felt the urge to draw something, anything, so I illustrated my day-to-day life, as a sort of intermission - and I thought I'd share, even if it isn't about go, just to show that I am alive :)

Burning sticks is an ancient pagan fertility ritual that, if performed above the petri dish, should increase the number of colonies...
...alternatively, if you prefer the rational (and truthful, less exciting) explanation: The glass rod you use to spread the bacteria onto the growth plate needs to be sterile, so you dunk it in alcohol and set it on fire for sterilization. ;)

But how does burning sticks relate to study of bacteria? I tried to google it, but I guess I rolled badly on my gather information check. (RPG reference I wonder why...)
